That's the kind of commercial handyman we're looking for.
We're looking for a seasoned commercial handyman with 15+ years of hands-on experience who can work independently and take care of our commercial clients.
YOU KNOW HOW TO GET THE WORK DONE
Our commercial clients depend on us to keep their buildings, businesses and properties in good working order.
You may be working in:
- Offices
- Retail stores
- Restaurants
- Medical facilities
- Property management properties
- HOAs
- Light industrial facilities
- Commercial buildings
The work can include:
- Carpentry
- Drywall and patching
- Painting
- Doors and hardware
- Flooring and tile
- Plumbing repairs
- Light electrical
- Ceiling repairs
- Trim and finish work
- Tenant improvements
- General building repairs
- Preventive maintenance
- Emergency repairs
You don't have to know everything.
But you need to be good at figuring things out.
You'll often be working on your own at the customer's property, handling the work from start to finish. You need to be comfortable looking at a work order, figuring out what needs to be done, getting the materials or information you need and completing the job properly.
THIS IS A HANDS-ON JOB
We're looking for someone who:
- Has 15+ years of commercial or construction experience
- Can work independently without someone standing over you
- Knows how to troubleshoot problems
- Takes pride in good workmanship
- Has their own tools
- Can communicate with customers and property managers
- Can read work orders, job notes and basic scopes of work
- Keeps the jobsite clean
- Shows up on time and follows through
- Understands that you're representing our company when you're at a customer's property
We're not looking for someone who needs to be told every step.
We need someone who can show up, assess the work and handle it.
WE BRING YOU THE WORK
You don't have to spend your time looking for commercial customers.
We handle the phones, scheduling, sales and customer relationships.
We'll give you the work order and the information you need.
You go to the property and take care of the job.
You may be working by yourself most of the time, but you're never left without support. Our office and project team are there when you need them.
You bring the experience.
You handle the work.
We keep you working.

That's where you come in.
Some commercial work may require occasional overnight, evening or weekend hours to work around the customer's business hours.

$25–$45+ per hour based on experience

WHAT YOU NEED
- 15+ years of hands-on commercial handyman, construction or building maintenance experience
- Strong skills across multiple trades
- Your own basic hand and power tools
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation to work
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Must live in Northern Virginia
