Qualifications

Required:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in construction, remodeling, handyman services, building maintenance, or related trades
• Proven experience with both residential and commercial projects
• Strong proficiency in multiple trades including carpentry, drywall, doors, trim, flooring, and general repairs
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience preparing job estimates and project scopes
• Comfortable with tablets (mobile apps) CRM systems/estimating software
• Own a complete set of professional-grade tools
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

 Preferred:

• GC, Plumbing, Electrical, or HVAC licensing
• Commercial door and hardware expertise
• Experience with service-based estimating software such as Service Titan

 What You'll Do

As a Service Technician, you will independently and co-manage a variety of residential and commercial projects while serving as the face of our company in the field.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform professional repair, maintenance, remodeling, and improvement services for residential and commercial clients
• Diagnose customer issues and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions
• Create accurate estimates and project scopes using company-provided technology
• Communicate project timelines, expectations, and recommendations clearly with customers and office staff
• Deliver a premium customer experience from initial consultation through project completion
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail
• Document project information, photos, estimates, invoices, and customer communications using an iPad and field-service software
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and professional appearance

 Typical Projects May Include:

• Commercial and residential improvements and maintenance
• Cabinet and millwork installation
• Exterior / Second story repairs (fascia, soffit, siding, wood rot, caulking/sealing)
• Window & door, frame, and hardware installation or replacement (commercial and residential)
• Interior and exterior, trim and finish carpentry
• Stucco and hardy board repairs
• Flooring and tile installation
• Bathroom and kitchen remodeling
• Drywall hanging, repair, and finishing
• Window and door repair or replacement
• Siding repairs
• General building maintenance and repairs
