We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our independently owned Mr. Handyman franchise. The ideal candidate will have a passion for service excellence, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving operational efficiency and profitability.


Your Responsibilities as an Operations Manager

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
  • Hire, train, lead, and motivate a team of service professionals and office staff to deliver exceptional service and exceed customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the franchise owner to develop and execute strategic plans for business growth and expansion.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and licensing requirements.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.


Qualifications

These are the minimum requirements to be considered for this position.

  • Proven experience in operations management, in the home repair or construction industry.
  • Ability to Estimate small to large projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Self-starter, self-motivated with a great work ethic.
  • Knowledge of the principles of business administration
  • Working knowledge of marketing strategies
  • Financial analytics and numeracy skills
  • Ability to make quick decisions and adjustments
  • 10 years in the home service industry.


Benefits & Pay

The pay range for this position is $65K to $80K and is dependent on your experience, performance & growth.
