Mr. Handyman is seeking an experienced Office/Operations Manager to help lead the day-to-day operations of our growing business. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys managing people, improving processes, analyzing business performance, and helping a company achieve its growth goals.
The Operations Manager will work directly with ownership and play a key role in overseeing office operations, customer service, scheduling, team performance, and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations and administrative functions
- Lead and support office staff to ensure exceptional customer service
- Answer and manage incoming customer calls and scheduling requests
- Monitor and analyze key business metrics and performance indicators
- Track lead flow, booking rates, close rates, revenue, profitability, and other operational KPIs
- Assist with business development initiatives and growth strategies
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate communication between customers, technicians, and office staff
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee development
- Develop and maintain systems and processes that support company growth
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of Office Management, Operations Management, or Business Management experience required
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience reviewing and managing business performance metrics and KPIs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and business software platforms
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in home services, construction, trades, or service-based businesses is preferred
