Mr. Handyman of Northern Virginia (Arlington to Haymarket) is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Commercial Technician to support our growing portfolio of commercial clients.

This position focuses primarily on commercial properties, retail locations, offices, medical facilities, property management accounts, and light industrial environments throughout Northern Virginia.

We provide the customers, scheduling, vehicle, and support—you bring the skills.

What You'll Do

As a Multi-Skilled Commercial Technician, you'll perform a variety of repair, maintenance, and improvement projects while serving as a trusted partner to our commercial clients.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform commercial repair and maintenance services across multiple trades
• Troubleshoot facility issues and identify practical solutions
• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
• Conduct repairs in occupied commercial environments
• Communicate with property managers, facility managers, and business owners
• Create and present estimates for additional work opportunities
• Maintain accurate job notes, photos, and documentation
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to company standards
• Represent the company professionally at all times

Skills & Experience

Ideal candidates have broad experience in commercial maintenance, facilities management, construction, or skilled trades.

Preferred Experience:

• Commercial handyman services
• Building maintenance
• Carpentry and finish work
• Drywall repair and painting
• Door, frame, and hardware repairs
• Ceiling tile replacement
• Flooring and tile repairs
• Light plumbing repairs
• Light electrical troubleshooting and fixture replacement
• Property turnover and punch-list work
• Preventative maintenance programs

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in commercial maintenance, construction, facilities, or related trades
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Professional communication skills
• Experience interacting with facility managers and commercial clients
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
