We’re looking for a highly organized, customer-focused professional who can guide homeowners and businesses from their first inquiry all the way through scheduling service.

This role combines customer service, inside sales, and operational coordination. You will help customers understand their repair needs, provide ballpark pricing, and convert inquiries into scheduled work for our technicians.

What You’ll Do

Customer Communication

  • Answer incoming calls, texts, emails, and online inquiries
  • Listen carefully to understand the customer’s project or repair needs
  • Provide clear ballpark estimates and help customers move forward

Inside Sales

  • Convert inquiries into scheduled jobs
  • Follow up with unsold estimates
  • Help customers feel confident choosing Mr. Handyman

Scheduling & Dispatch

  • Schedule jobs efficiently and manage the dispatch board
  • Coordinate technician schedules to maximize productivity
  • Ensure customers and technicians are aligned on job expectations

Customer Experience

  • Guide customers through their projects from first contact to completion
  • Manage expectations and resolve issues if they arise
  • Help generate repeat customers and positive reviews

Office Coordination

  • Maintain accurate customer records and job notes
  • Assist with invoicing and payments when needed
  • Communicate clearly with the team to keep operations running smoothly

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of office or customer service experience
  • Strong phone presence and communication skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Local to the Virginia Beach area

Experience with dispatching, scheduling, or inside sales is a plus.
