Compensation

Commission-based role averaging $30–$40/hour + performance-based bonuses and tips

What You’ll Do

• Complete a wide range of residential and light commercial repairs (small to large projects)
• Communicate clearly with customers, set expectations, and recommend solutions
• Deliver high-quality craftsmanship and ensure customer satisfaction
• Build long-term relationships with clients and represent the Mr. Handyman brand

How You’ll Be Measured

• Customer satisfaction
• Revenue production
• Billing accuracy
• Low callback/recall rate

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in construction or handyman services (required)
• Strong skills in at least 3 of the following:
• Carpentry
• Drywall repair
• Painting (interior/exterior)
• Kitchen & bathroom improvements
• Basic plumbing & electrical (as permitted by law)
• Flooring installation/repair
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service mindset
• Ability to work independently and manage your day effectively

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (must be insurable)
• Ability to pass background and driving checks
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Own standard set of tools
• Willing to relocate to or commute to Virginia Beach, VA

Work Location

On the road – serving customers throughout Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, and Suffolk
