Mr. Handyman of Northern Virginia is growing and looking for a dependable, skilled Facility Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join our team. If you’re experienced across multiple trades and take pride in doing the job right the first time, this is a great opportunity to stay busy year-round.
What You’ll Do
- Handle a variety of repair, maintenance, and improvement projects for residential and commercial clients
- Perform work including carpentry, drywall repair, painting, minor plumbing, and light electrical
- Diagnose issues and recommend practical solutions to customers
- Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Communicate clearly with clients to set expectations and ensure satisfaction
- Prepare and present estimates for additional work when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and job site
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in maintenance, handyman, or construction work
- Strong multi-trade skillset (carpentry, drywall, light plumbing/electrical)
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule in the field
- Comfortable interacting directly with customers
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Own basic tools required for daily work
- Reside within Northern Virginia service area
- Fluent in English

Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday – Friday (day shift)
- Occasional Saturday rotation
