You know how to square up a door, patch drywall so it disappears, install trim that actually looks good, troubleshoot a plumbing issue, replace a light fixture, and figure out the problem without spending half the day watching YouTube.

Mr. Handyman of Northern Virginia is looking for an experienced Craftsman who takes pride in doing quality work, treating customers right, and leaving every home better than they found it.
This isn't production work. You're not building the same thing every day.
Every day brings something different, and that's what keeps the job interesting.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll handle a variety of residential repairs, maintenance, and small remodeling projects, including:
Carpentry & Trim Work
Drywall Repairs & Painting
Door & Window Repairs
Light Plumbing
Light Electrical
Flooring & Tile Repairs
Deck & Fence Repairs
General Home Repairs & Maintenance
If it's part of a house, there's a good chance you'll work on it.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who has earned their experience—not someone just getting started.
You should have:
- 20+ years of hands-on construction or remodeling experience
- Strong carpentry skills with solid knowledge of multiple trades
- Experience with drywall, painting, light plumbing, and light electrical
- Pride in doing the job right the first time
- Good communication with homeowners
- The ability to work independently without someone looking over your shoulder
- A valid driver's license
- Your own professional hand tools
