Mr. Handyman of Northern Virginia is looking for an experienced Commercial Craftsman who takes pride in quality work, shows up ready to get the job done, and understands that local businesses depend on reliable repairs to keep their operations running.

You'll work with property managers, business owners, facility managers, retail stores, offices, restaurants, medical offices, and commercial properties throughout Northern Virginia. Every day brings a different challenge—and that's what keeps the work interesting.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll perform a wide variety of commercial repairs, maintenance, and tenant improvement projects, including:

Commercial Carpentry & Finish Work

Drywall Repairs, Patching & Painting

Suspended Ceiling & Ceiling Tile Repairs

Door, Frame & Hardware Repairs

Light Plumbing Repairs & Fixture Replacement

Light Electrical Repairs & Fixture Installation

Flooring, Base & Trim Repairs

Tenant Improvements & Office Build-Outs

General Building Maintenance & Commercial Repairs

If it's part of a commercial building, there's a good chance you'll work on it.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who has earned their experience—not someone just getting started.

You should have:

• 20+ years of hands-on commercial construction, remodeling, building maintenance, or handyman experience
• Strong carpentry skills with working knowledge across multiple trades
• Experience with drywall, painting, light plumbing, and light electrical
• The ability to troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions
• Pride in doing quality work the first time
• Professional communication with business owners, property managers, and facility managers
• The ability to work independently without someone looking over your shoulder
• A valid driver's license
• Your own professional hand tools
