Your Responsibilities as a Handyman Professional

  • Develop Professional Estimates - for bathrooms, kitchens, basements and other projects outlining material cost and labor costs.
  • Making Recommendations and Managing Expectations with Customers - You’ll communicate with customers to help them understand what they need to have done and manage expectations about the scope of work. 
  • Create Life-Long Customers - Deliver a great experience that wows life-long repeat customers.  You will follow the Mr. Handyman Way - a repeatable process that makes it easy to wow the customer every time.

To Succeed in this Role

  • You’ll need to self-manage as you’ll be alone often.
  • You’ll need to speak with customers and provide helpful suggestions that will help them with their projects.
  • Present product materials that get customer excited about their project, examples would be flooring, shower systems, cabinets, etc.
  • Craft accurate estimates that win the business while maximizing company revenue
  • You'll use company software to develop professional estimates
  • Source products and cost for project estimates
  • You'll work hand in hand with the owner and team to develop professional winning estimates


Job Requirements

These are the minimum requirements to be considered for this position.

  • Live within the area
  • Have 5+ years’ experience as a paid estimator
  • Be insurable for driving our vehicle
  • Complete a background and driving record check
  • Able to lift 50 pounds independently
  • Professional appearance
  • A reliable vehicle



Benefits & Pay

The pay range for this position is $50,00.00 to $75,000.00 and is dependent on your experience as an estimator.
