Location: Racine County & Surrounding Areas

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Dayshift) | No Weekends | No Holidays

Pay Range: $20.00 – $24.00 / hour (commensurate with trade experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Estimating (Residential & Commercial): Evaluate customer inquiry details via phone, email, or digital chat. Determine proper scope of work, corrective actions, and provide accurate material and labor estimates.
  • Site Surveys: Schedule and perform in-person inspections for complex projects that require physical evaluation before scope finalization.
  • Field Maintenance & Repairs: Perform small to medium hands-on maintenance and repair tasks as needed (project scopes typically range from 2 hours to 2 days).
  • Client Consultation: Guide clients through project requirements, manage cost and timeline expectations transparently, and uphold the "Mr. Handyman Way" to build long-term loyalty.
  • Pipeline Management: Track, follow up on, and close outstanding estimates to maintain a consistent project workflow.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 10+ years of paid professional experience in trades/handyman work (carpentry, drywall, plumbing, and electrical).
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using digital communication tools including Microsoft Teams, email, chat apps, and field management software.
  • Customer Service: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-first mindset.
  • Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 50 lbs independently and safely work overhead or at heights for extended periods.
  • Background & Driving: Must hold a valid driver's license, maintain an insurable driving record, and pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Location: Must reside within the local service area.
