What You’ll Do:
This role is ideal for a high-performing customer service or dispatch professional who thrives on coordinating people, solving logistical puzzles, and keeping field teams running smoothly.
- Manage inbound and outbound calls, emails, and customer communications
- Efficiently schedule and dispatch technicians to maximize productivity and minimize travel time
- Coordinate daily schedules and make real-time adjustments based on job changes or emergencies
- Comfortably explain our services to new customers in your own words and set clear, realistic expectations
- Deliver a consistently smooth, professional customer experience
- Take ownership of administrative operations and help ensure the team stays organized, efficient, and responsive to customer needs
What We’re Looking For:
- Friendly, outgoing attitude
- 3-5 years of experience in customer service, dispatch, or administrative roles - preferably in a fast-paced service environment
- Strong dispatching and scheduling skills, with the ability to manage shifting priorities, optimize technician availability, and think on your feet
- Experience in a home services or contractor-based business is a plus
- Confident verbal communicator who can explain services clearly and conversationally - not just read from a script
- Excellent phone, text, and email communication skills
- Strong multitasker with sharp attention to detail
- Tech-savvy (CRM or ServiceTitan experience is a plus)
- Organized, dependable, and calm under pressure
- Local to the area and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Bonus: You love home improvement and/or have experience in the field

You’ll be employed by Mr. Handyman of Huntington and Smithtown, an independently owned and operated franchise. If hired, your franchise owner will be your sole employer.
