You've been doing this for 10 years or more.

You've repaired buildings.

You've handled tenant improvements and facility repairs.

You've fixed doors, walls, floors and the things that keep a business from running right.

You know how to walk into a job, look it over and figure out what needs to be done.

That's the kind of commercial handyman we're looking for.

We're looking for an experienced handyman who knows his trade, takes pride in his work and can handle repairs and improvements for commercial customers.

KNOW YOUR WAY AROUND A BUILDING

You should be comfortable working on a variety of commercial repairs and improvements, including:

• Carpentry and trim
• Drywall repairs and painting
• Doors, locks and hardware
• Light plumbing and electrical
• Flooring and tile repairs
• Office and retail renovations
• Tenant improvements and interior upgrades
• General building maintenance and repairs

You don't have to know everything.

But you should be good at a lot of things.

You need to be able to assess the job, figure out the repair, communicate with the customer and get the work done right.

EXPERIENCE MATTERS

We're looking for someone with 10+ years of hands-on handyman, construction or building repair experience, including commercial work.

Someone who:

• Knows the trade and has their own tools
• Can troubleshoot problems without being told every step
• Takes pride in good workmanship
• Can work independently and manage the job
• Shows up on time and follows through
• Treats customers and their properties with respect
• Keeps the work area clean and safe
• Communicates with property managers and business owners
• Can work from job notes, scopes of work and customer requests
• Understands that businesses need repairs done right and on schedule

We're not looking to teach you the trade. We're looking for someone who already knows how to do the work.

WORK WITH COMMERCIAL CLIENTS

Our customers include property managers, realtors, property owners and businesses that need dependable repair and maintenance work.

You'll work in places like:

• Commercial offices
• Retail stores and restaurants
• Medical facilities
• Property management accounts
• Industrial and commercial properties
• HOAs and other managed properties

Some jobs may require occasional overnight, weekend or other irregular hours to work around business operations.

WHAT YOU NEED

• 10+ years of hands-on handyman, construction or building repair experience
• Experience with commercial repairs and improvements
• Strong skills across multiple trades
• Your own basic hand and power tools
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation to work
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Willingness to work occasional nights or weekends when needed
• Must live in Northern Virginia
